The fastest and easiest way to winds coils is with ParaWire’s Cobra Coiler. Just secure the Cobra Coiler to your work table (either screw it in or mount it with a C-clamp); insert and tighten your desired rod; slide the wire into one of the slots; hold the wire with one hand and wind with the other. It’s that easy.
Comes with mountable coiler, two round rods (0.0625″ and 0.120″ in diameter), one TRIANGULAR rod, instructions, and carrying case. You can also use rods as thin as a pin to slightly thicker than 1/4″ diameter. Shaped rods work great with the Cobra Coiler as well.

I bought this coiler when it was on sale a few months back and I have to say that making jump rings has never been easier for me than it has become now with this tool! I have clamped it to my bench because I also use this gem to twist wire.. from individual square pieces all the way up to multiple bundles for bangles. I absolutly LOVE this Cobra Coiler! It comes with a few mandrels, including a triangle shaped one but you can use any other mandrels you have that will fit in the chuck. It is very simple to use and comes with its own zippered case to take with you if you choose not to mount it to your work bench with the pre-drilled holes in the base. Very heavy duty and I expect this will last for years to come
